The label reads: The arts are a large part of the ISBVI curriculum. Students participate in general music education, choir, piano classes, jazz band and visual arts classes. Artistic activities directly exercise and strengthen the cognitive and physical skills that generally challenge children with specific needs such as oral, tactile, visual, sensory and motor skills. (Americans for the Arts) Featured here are a few members of the 2018 jazz band. IBCF has supported the jazz band through the acquisition of funding for instruments and music technology.
