The Indiana Blind Children’s Foundation (IBCF) is excited to have VisionQuest Eyecare as the 2025 Through the Looking Glass Gala Keynote Speakers Sponsor, which will welcome Bradford and Bryan Manning of Two Blind Brothers to the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Noblesville on Saturday, Sept. 6 to be this year’s keynote speakers.
Having worked in the eyecare industry for the last 20 years, Audrey Nelson came on as VisionQuest Eyecare’s Chief Operating Officer in 2016. After getting to know Through the Looking Glass Gala co-chairs Amanda Madore and Lindsey Jordan through the eyecare industry, Nelson decided to join the Gala Committee three years ago and has found a great deal of fulfillment in doing so.
“Everybody always wants to give back, and I’m a busy mom of three kids,” Nelson says. “But if I was going to give back and volunteer, it just felt right to give back through something that was connected to my everyday job. I’m passionate about vision and providing opportunities for anyone that have a visual impact.”
After coming on as a Silver Table Sponsor in 2024, VisionQuest Eyecare will now serve as the Keynote Speakers Sponsor for this year’s Gala. Having met Bradford and Bryan Manning of Two Blind Brothers at an event earlier this year, the VisionQuest Eyecare staff says they couldn’t be more excited to bring the brothers to Indy for this very special speaking engagement.
“They’re devoting their whole lives to helping out others,” says VisionQuest Eyecare Dr. Terry Null. “We started carrying their frame line, and they are just the most down-to-earth people too. I think their story will really play well with the crowd.”
VisionQuest Eyecare Dr. Christopher Browning especially admires the fact that Two Blind Brothers donates 100% of their profits to research through the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
“If these guys are out there providing for the people who don’t see well and trying to give them an opportunity to live out their dreams, and we can play a small part in that by giving them an opportunity to talk to some of the most advanced eyecare providers in the state of Indiana, then we are all about that,” Browning says.
In addition to bringing Bradford and Bryan Manning to this year’s Gala, the VisionQuest Eyecare team is ultimately thrilled to be supporting the mission of IBCF as well.
“Giving these kids the opportunity to excel is important,” Browning says. “We want all of them to succeed in life and fulfill their dreams.”
